Family
Our family has descended onto Southern Oregon. We still don't know how much longer Grandma has left, but we're determined to spend as much time with her as we can. There were twenty people here for dinner last night. My cousin Amber, a nurse, has taken a leave of absence from her job, and is planning to be with Grandma and take care of her until the end. My parents are staying at my grandparents' house, but everyone else is staying with my aunt and uncle, who live in nearby Jacksonville.
My Dad and I are taking a lot of pictures. Like Caedmon's birth five months ago, this is an experience that we want to honor by remembering it.
